Doctoral studies correspond to the third cycle of university studies in the Bologna process and allow the acquisition of a level 8 qualification in the EQF / CEC and the National Qualifications Framework.
Doctoral studies are conducted under the supervision of a PhD supervisor. These include attending a training program based on advanced university studies at the doctoral school as well as an individual scientific research program.
Doctoral studies can be organized either nationally or internationally. Thus, the doctoral candidate can work under the guidance of a doctoral supervisor in Romania and a doctoral supervisor from another country or under the co-ordination of two doctoral supervisors from different institutions in Romania.
